We wish peace, joy and love to you and your
family during this Christmas season.
We want to take this opportunity to thank our
friends who have contributed to the success of SSNA during the
past year. Our supporters have played a vital role in this
lifesaving mission, enabling us to spay or neuter over 9,000
dogs and cats since the clinic opened in July 2011.
As we look forward to a new year we are asking
for your help with our Community Assistance Fund. This fund
benefits those having a difficult time financially, including
low income families, senior citizens and the disabled.
Approximately one third of our clients need assistance.
Abigail, pictured above, is a sweet young dog
who was spayed through the assistance program. Her family told
us, "Abigail is part of our family, we just love her. We
didn't want her to have a litter of puppies, knowing we might
not find them good homes, but we could not afford to have her
spayed. This program was a blessing to our family."
Our commitment to end pet overpopulation is
unwavering. Please join us in this effort by giving the
gift that keeps puppies and kittens out of shelters and saves
lives through prevention.
Our year end goal is to raise $20,000 toward our
Assistance Fund for 2013. This amount will allow us to help
spay or neuter more than 600 dogs and cats belonging to
families who could not otherwise afford this important
surgery.
Thank you for caring and for your generosity
during this season of hope and giving.
Sincerely,
June McMahon, President
