The Sumner County Commission recognized SSNA for the important work that we do 

in our community. We are grateful to the county officials who have put their faith in us from the very beginning, believing that we could accomplish what we said we would do. SSNA spayed and neutered 6301 animals in our first year. We are honored to have received this certificate and will continue to save lives through prevention.

If you live in Westmoreland, Portland or Gallatin, 

through Operation Pit Bull (OPB), you can have your 

pit or pit mix spayed or neutered, vaccinated for 

rabies and micro-chipped for only $5. Courtesy of 

a grant from Petsmart Charities, the SSNA can offer these services to these targeted areas.

 

If you live anywhere else in the state other than the three specified areas above, through the Primp Your Pit (PYP) Promotion, you can have your pit or pit mix 

spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies and nails trimmed for only $20, also from Petsmart Charities.

 

To date SSNA has fixed over 200 pits and pit mixes through these programs. 

OPB continues until May 2013 and PYP ends mid September 2012.
